The New and Improved Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki Inflatable Catamaran-Kayak-Boat is here! It’s a great improvement over the old 435ps PaddleSki. The design changes of this amazing boat take it to a whole new level of fun and excitement! You can do it all with the boat: paddle, motor, fish, sail, and camp.

The improved features of the all-new Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki:

  • Redesigned hull with five separate, air chambers for added safety
  • New rigid, high-pressure, inflatable drop-stitch floor
  • Improved swivel seats
  • Custom removable transom
  • Universal Scotty Mounting Pads for attaching accessories
  • Ability to accept up to a 6 HP gas motor
  • Canopy Attachment System for the optional Sun & Rain Canopy
  • And so much more that you’ll discover in the specification and feature sections below

The Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki is a hybrid inflatable boat that offers amazing versatility! This unique crossover between an inflatable catamaran, a kayak with drop-stitch technology, and a motorboat has the benefits of each in an all-in-one package that is remarkably stable, fast, rigid, and rugged.

The PaddleSki’s catamaran hull design features two widely spaced inflatable tubes that allow it to glide through the water with minimal resistance while also providing a solid well-balanced hull.

The Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki offers incredible advantages and it is inflatable too! It folds down to a fraction of its inflated size making it a breeze to transport and store. No bulky expensive roof racks are needed when taking this boat to the water. No need for a trailer either.

Other Sea Eagle inflatable boats that might interest you are the SE9 Motormount Inflatable Boats, Inflatable Sport Runabouts, and FastCat 12 Catamaran Inflatable Boat.

Can You Row in the Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki?

I spoke with Sea Eagle to see if the new 437ps PaddleSki works with their QuikRow Kit. Unfortunately, they don’t know. Their response was, “We are not sure if it will work with the QuikRow because the new model has not been tested for use with the QuikRow as of yet.”

The old 435ps PaddleSki was not only compatible they sold discounted Sea Eagle 435ps PaddleSki QuikRow 4-in-1 package. Hopefully, the 437ps PaddleSki will be compatible with the QuikRow Kit too.

I’ll let you know what I find out as new tests are done.

Catamaran Kayak Hull Design

The unique hull design of a Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki Inflatable Catamaran-Kayak-Boat.

A unique design feature of the PaddleSki is its catamaran-style hull with widely spaced inflatable tubes that allows the center cockpit floor to ride 4″ above the waterline. This greatly reduces drag on the water making it faster and well-balanced.

5 Safety Air Chambers

The five separate, independent, safety air chambers of a Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki Inflatable Catamaran-Kayak-Boat.

The 437ps PaddleSki has 5 separate air chambers for added safety. In the highly unlikely chance that one of the chambers fails, this boat will easily remain afloat to ensure your safety and anyone else with you.

Rigid, High-Pressure, Inflatable Floor

The rigid, high-pressure, inflatable drop-stitch floor of a Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki Inflatable Catamaran-Kayak-Boat.

The new rigid, high-pressure, inflatable drop-stitch floor is created by joining the top and bottom fabric layers with tens of thousands of high-tensile strength threads. This design allows the floor to be inflated up to 10 psi which provides stability, buoyancy, and a rigid floor stable enough to stand on. Great for fishing!

Custom Removable Transom

Gotta say, that catamaran hull design on the Sea Eagle 437ps sounds like it makes for a super stable ride. Been looking for something just like this for my fishing trips. Cheers for the info!

Hey Steve Hood, just wanted to say I love how detailed this outline is! Never thought a PaddleSki could be so equipped. Thinking of upgrading to the Sea Eagle 437ps for my next adventure. The canopy system sounds like a total game changer for sunny days on the lake.

  3. Caught my eye that there’s a 50w and 110w solar boat package. How does it perform on cloudy days though? Environmentally friendly options are my thing but gotta make sure it fits all weather situations.

    1. Avatar for TechSavvy TechSavvy says:

EcoRider, solar panels still generate power on cloudy days but it’s definitely less efficient. Most systems store some power though, so you might still be okay depending on the battery setup.

    2. Avatar for SunnySideUp SunnySideUp says:

Hey EcoRider, think of it as a good excuse to chill when it’s cloudy. A little less speed, a little more nature appreciation. We could all use the slowdown, right?

  4. Avatar for EcoPaddler EcoPaddler says:

Curious about the 50w and 110w Solar Boat Packages. How efficient are these in practice? It’s great seeing more eco-friendly options on the water. Thanks, Steve Hood, for highlighting these.

    1. From what I’ve seen, solar panels on boats can surprisingly keep up with many day-to-day needs if there’s good sunlight. Efficiency varies widely though.

  5. Avatar for FishFinder FishFinder says:

Always wanted to try fishing from a PaddleSki. The Sea Eagle 437 sounds perfect with the custom removable transom for a motor. Can imagine trolling along the coast early morning. Peaceful.

has anyone tried attaching a 6 hp motor to these? curious about the speed it can hit

  7. Avatar for TheSkeptik TheSkeptik says:

Not convinced a kayak could handle a 6 HP motor without capsizing. Sounds like a gimmick to me. How sturdy can an inflatable really be?

  8. Avatar for RiverRambler RiverRambler says:

I’m all about that high-pressure, inflatable floor. Sounds like it could take a beating and keep on floating. That’s essential for the rocky rivers I like to explore.

  9. Avatar for GearHeadGary GearHeadGary says:

The rigid, high-pressure floor in the Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki sounds like a solid upgrade. Wonder how it compares to traditional kayaks in terms of stability and performance?

  10. Avatar for SkeptiCal SkeptiCal says:

So they’re saying you can attach up to a 6 HP gas motor to this thing? I’ll believe that when I see it. Seems a bit lightweight for that kinda power.

  11. Avatar for CaptainNoob CaptainNoob says:

Is the Sea Eagle 437ps beginner-friendly? I’ve only been kayaking a couple of times and worry about keeping balance, especially with an inflatable model.

  12. Avatar for CaptainNostalgia CaptainNostalgia says:

The design of the Sea Eagle 437ps PaddleSki really brings me back. They don’t make them like they used to, but this seems like a fascinating blend of old and new. Love the innovation with a nod to tradition.

Love the idea of the solo startup package. As someone who enjoys solo trips, it’s cool to see a setup that catifies this. Sea Eagle seems to know their audience well.

  14. Avatar for TechTrekker TechTrekker says:

While the canopy attachment system sounds intriguing, I have to wonder about its practicality in various weather conditions. Does it hold up well against high winds? Would be great to see some data or user experiences on this.

  15. Avatar for WindWhisperer WindWhisperer says:

The Catamaran kayak hull design is an interesting choice for the Sea Eagle 437ps. Curious how it affects maneuverability and speed compared to more traditional designs.

  16. Avatar for LazyLagoon LazyLagoon says:

love the idea of a removable transom. makes it sound easy to switch up activities on the water.

  17. Avatar for ThrillSeeker ThrillSeeker says:

Anyone else think attaching a 6 HP motor to an inflatable kayak is pushing it? I mean, it sounds cool, but how does that actually play out in rougher waters or with higher speeds? Just can’t wrap my head around it without seeing some serious testing results or real-life reviews.

    1. Avatar for CalmCruiser CalmCruiser says:

From what I’ve seen, the Sea Eagle is surprisingly stable, even with a motor. It’s about the design and the weight distribution. Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!

  18. Avatar for MotorManiac MotorManiac says:

Hooking up a 6 HP gas motor on the Sea Eagle 437ps? This is what I’m talking about! Bet it turns it into a real beast on the water. Anyone tried maxing it out yet?
